fbmws - excellent fun as usual....

kudos for the choice of tracks - 2 street circuits was inspired stuff ;)

4th or 5th in one of the vara races, sweet battle with laurance at macau for king of the wingless runners... oscher, back to slippy slidey scenery munching... ho ho...

alex - absolutely no probs mate... :)

bring on the ngp!

Nothing has changed, we're all used to eating Manny's dust. (Aussies that is). :D :p

ha ha

I'm not a big fan of the Istanbul circuit but racing the 87 cars was a lot of fun.

Qual - I couldn't really get a lap right in qualifying so I ended up starting the race in 7th (Or 6th really after Gwyar's computer had a fit).

Race 1 - Got a good jump and came through turn 1 in 3rd place. Spent the rest of the race chasing down and trying to pass Jari. Wasn't able to do it and I finished the race in 3rd. Well done Ludwig, who raced away and well done to Jari for holding me off.

Race 2 - Started 6th. Got another good jump but had to hit the brakes down the front straight as a gap closed up in front of me. Came out of turn 1 in 2nd behind Ben. Spent a lap or 2 trying to get by him which allowed Ludwig to catch up behind us. Ludwig dived under me into the final series of turns and took 2nd. Ludwig then overtook Ben for 1st and I spent another lap behind Ben before I was able to get by when he made a mistake. Chased down Ludwig and spent the remainder of the race trying to find a way past him. I couldn't find a way up the inside so on the final lap I tried going around the outside of him on turn 6 (I think). Sadly I ran out of room coming out of the turn, when he moved over and I went for a bit of a bounce on the grass and lost some ground. So I ended up 2nd.

Oh well. Cyas next week.
