still not sure how I got stop and go though ... thought AI took control in pit lane, and I am fairly certain I hit the limiter prior to entering ... only thing I can think of is that I must have still been slowing down when I crossed the pit lane speed limit line ... honest officer! :lol:

I thought it was a mandatory pit stop myself so opted for a 1 stopper, wish I bloody hadn't now as they always ruin my race as I sit empty in my pit bay NOT being refueled. Doh!

well three on line so we agreed just to do a 15 lap race all in sr4 252 rads. got caught out by the wet track and i managed to spin off line and damage suspension. so while in pits at end of first lap gary and pat decided to go for a stint in the beach. i decided to pop on wets. this proved good for me, although maybe not the tyre to be on. got to the front at one point and had about 1/2 second gap to gary behind. made a mistake out of turn 4 and got stuck in tyre barrier. this really damaged suspension and i had to make another stop (thanks to "saftey car" periods though we stayed close). car never handled the same and after another stop to get things repaired and checked and being 1min down on leaders with 1 lap to go went to pits to watch the final 40 seconds or so.

great race, great fun, shame not many turned up.
