By the way, some people reported some confusion as to when the lights go out at the start and had jump starts. I'd keep an eye on the clock too to know for sure the race started, it might be 1 light out.

Anyone else having a problem with the track download? Speed is 20KB/s.

:O_o:

At that rate, it will not be finished before the race.

EDIT: In fact, another 2 hours and 10 minutes.

Anyone got a faster alternate link, please? Thanks in advance. Don't wanna miss this.

When you unpack the rar file it shows a GameData folder just put that in your main GSC folder where the GSC.exe (aplication)sits, and let it overwrite.

No need to go in to the folders and take the other ones out. that why its done with a GameData folder.:)

After some feedback about grip levels, I'm changing the track to a default track. Perhaps one day when I can get the grip working better we'll run the BTCC tracks (they felt much worse online than when single player).

Let's fill up the grid! You can ask other drivers to practice or race with you by using the tag function of the forum. Just type an @ directly followed by the user name and this person will receive a notification.

Our racing clubs are foremost meant to gain online experience so please help other drivers out when they have questions about the event, the car, the track, the setup or a combination. This is not a league race, it's for some fun, so please join us on TeamSpeak and build a little community spirit!

Don't forget all the Opalas have launch control, assign a button to it.
  1. On the start line push the button and hold it (you will see it engages 1st gear)
  2. Press the gas to the max!
  3. Wait for the start and release the button and you're off. Zooooom away.
  4. Change to 2nd gear as normal and carry on up the gear box.
Note: These vehicles do not have a pit speed limiter. Pit speed limits still in effect, maintain <60kph manually.

Example of track limits for a track.
