Are we planning test event? Could be a good idea to check car performance.
It would be brilliant to do a test event but I don't have time to do it before the first race. I've got my parents in town at the moment from abroad and they don't leave until the 9th of December so the only events I can participate in from now 'til then are the Clio one on Friday and the Touring Cars next Monday.

Can some one give me an idea of lap time for Nurburgring Grand Prix and car they used thanks

My new wheel is coming in tomorrow so I'm hoping to put in a few laps practice for both the Clio and CTCC at some point over the next few days. It seems quite a few people are going for the 190E, it may just be that it suits their driving style. Once you get it up to A600 it seems to have the most HP but I feel like it doesn't have as much grip as some of the others. I reckon it will probably have some extra speed on the straights but be a bit slower through the corners, which will be interesting because the tracks we're racing have a good balance of long straights and bendy bits and you can gamble in either direction. I'm kinda feeling the Delta, but will try all the cars out again after I get my wheel.

Well, I was talking about the 190E ! The Lancia wasn't a Group A car so we didn't take it :p

But that's exactly what the real series was:

High horsepower, poor handling cars (Mustang, Commodore, etc...)
Poor horsepower, high handling cars (190E, M3 E30, etc...)
Medium horsepower, medium handling cars (Sierra, 635CSI, etc...)

I'm still surprised you don't have the Volvo 242 in there ! :)

Decided on my vehicle of choice...

1992 Ford Escort RS Cosworth

Doubt I'll be contending podiums but happy driving it.

:)
