It worked in now prosperous Ireland. We took the land off the British landlords and told them to go **** themselves. There's now a lovely golf course on the domain of the landlord that ruled over my area. Point being what did people expect would happen? That everyone would just move on as if apartheid wasn't a big deal?Well it worked out well in now prosperous Zimbabwe!
