F1 2012 Changing track conditions & Weather

can someone give me any advice in changing track conditions from dry to wet , when it begins to rain , i change to wet tyres or inter , but my car slows right down on corners where im only doing 30- 40 mph when my foot is to the floor .. is this a bug in the system because it really spoils the fun and it doesn't seem to be an advantage when ive come in to change tyres while Ai cars are still on the option tyres , this doesnt reflect real life racing

yes i do , just getting bck in the swing of things , full assists on for now till i get a feel for the game and tracks

Weeell then, you can leave all other, but turning off the braking assist is a must. It basically lets the game brake for you and the results are (as you've noticed) pretty annoying.
Stay with ABS (for now) and the racing line, learn the track and braking points, but do the actual braking on your own.
