Some great racing tonight. Called Bram today for some chit-chat and was convinced to drive tonight.
Enjoyed every minute of it.

Race 1 was on safe-mode for me until I was in a ‘flow’ and autopilot was increasing speed every lap until I was around P4 with other in the barriers :)
In the very last lap I moved two places without noticing it. I guess DNF’s or stalls. So P2 for me.
Race 2 was messy with the reverse grid. Still loved the racing and came into a spin during defending. Never mind, no damage and could continue.
Race 3 was a poor getaway in P2. Started with too much wheelspin and hit the concrete wall. No damage but lost many places. Could regain to P4 after steady laps and other making mistakes.
Finally Reed made a mistake and I could pass to P3. Immediately some great battling with him for some laps, until he passed me on the outside. Great stuff!

And for me personally nice to see Paulo Ribeiro again :) We share a long history from Syncro-Racing. I hope to be back regularly now my education is finally complete after years.

See you next week already.

Indeed cracking racing! Thoroughly enjoyed it. Catch you next week!

I'll be a last minute yes/no on this one. Have to work, but later in the day so all depends on If I can get some sleep beforehand :).

Jason, make sure to try and blip the throttle some when downshifting (especially into 2nd). I felt like I was braking a bit earlier than I would expect to when practicing last night. I don't think I did anything too special with setup. I think I may have actually ended up one click higher on the rear ARB (opposite to what I would think would be good on this car) just so I can make the car a little bit pointier to find the right lines.

Not sure if you should take advice from me though...Tony is over 1s faster than I am :)

Thanks Fred.

What lap times should I be doing around here. Just want to be in the ball park.

Cheer
Racing with a group will bring you within the ballpark anyway Jase. The more experienced guys are always willing to help with advice, setups etc if they can.

Fred's advice on the blipping is spot on with this car. You can set autoblip in Automobilista if it makes things easier
