I'm ready with the 2nd video, but I wasn't able to put it on youtube. But no problem as I decided not to have them there! So I made a .rar containing both races and uploaded it on Rapidshare, here is the link:
http://rapidshare.com/files/161245294/WTCC_Race_Mosport.rar.html

One thing: I just noticed that I left the cursor in the videos, I forgot to turn "no cursor" option on in Fraps. Stupid mistake but at least I noticed it so there will be no cursor in future videos! :)

Hey guys, what are you lap times? Just to get an idea! (I think Lee's time I know :D, but guess that was just when he started)

After a training session yesterday I did a 1:36.200, hope you are not below 1:30 :car:

In an offline race, I did a 1.37.1 with about 20 laps worth of fuel and a bit of traffic (which didn't really hold me up very much to be fair)

I'm guessing the proper quicks would get into the low 35's maybe 34's

Depressing but realistic, that's my motto :thumb:

This race format was really fun! We should do it again :thumb:

I had a great evening, the car and the setup felt good and the racing was tight but clean :)

Race 1:

Torbjorn out qualified me with a few tenths of second, I started in P4

Had a fairly good start, but made a small error and fell back a few places. Rejoined in 8th or so position. Had a great duel with Jamie :fencing: I hope I didn't push you out Jamie (?). I tried to give you as much room as possible, but perhaps it wasn't enough... So sorry if I hit you.

Caught up to David and Torbjorn, followed them closely for a few laps before the opportunity came for a dirty sneak by on the inside of the both of them :eyebrows: I think David was unaware of me as he turned straight in to me a few times, but as I remember it I think I might have touched him as well so I guess it was evened out...

I finished the race in second place

Race 2:

Started with 60L of fuel, it turned out to be just right as I only had about 3L left after the race finished...

First half of the race went according to plan, aside from the fact that Torbjorn once again out qualified me by the cat's whiskers... :frusty:

I made my scheduled pit stop on lap 16, went in as P1 and came out as P3. My plan was to only change two sets of tires. As the car was fwd I thought it would be best to change the driving wheels, bad mistake! After only a few laps on fresh front tires the car started to over steer like mad! I took almost every corner in Initial-D style. If this would have been a drifting competition I think I would have won it easily :p

Because of my poor balance I was a sitting duck for Herwin, who came out of nowhere and started to harass me :boink: For the last 8 or so laps I really had to work hard to stay ahead of him. Herwin actually overtook me a few times, but as he out braked himself I managed to regain my position with out to much of a battle. Good and clean racing Herwin, that was very exciting!

I finished the second race in second place as well!
:bananamario:
Kind regards,
Karl

stupid strict track rules at the first tunnel entry :censored: could be a problem for 80min, as the best line is there lol better drive a wider line but its slower

and the first courner is so crazy , the walls are so close all the time lol thats funny :)

lets see who drive to finish without ending in a wall or black flaged :D

did a 1:33:550, but was in time trial with 1l fuel :)

skin I use:http://files.filefront.com/Team+FEARMinirar/;11951481;/fileinfo.html

its alredy in the friday mini pack I think ?

IM very disapointed with event,at some point with my driving style but with some others Guyes way of driving too.I took honda for this one,and didnt have time to make a good setup so had few problems with controling the car. What i really didnt like in both races was that people after going off track didnt wait for proper moment to rejoin the race-that caused some incidents.Alltogether there was lack of fair play in this event wich is really not good...

I hope I didn't push you out Jamie (?)
Karl

Nah, not at all - I should've ceded the corner, you were clearly in front on the inside having had a much better run out of the hairpin by taking a wide entry and late apex. I went ultra-defensive and took a tight line, losing momentum. You could've given more room through the sweeping chicane but I certainly wouldn't expect or demand it of you - it was your corner and your call to make - either way would've been 'correct'. My mistake was that I saw that I was (rightly) going to be squeezed out too late.

Even so, I didn't lose out much, just a little trip across a bit of grass - I'm quite happy with minor contact like that in cases such as these because firstly I can trust that my opponent knows what he's doing, and secondly it's clearly entirely without malice or ill-intent.

Well i for one am very happy with the event, loved the track although i liked the toca2 layout of it better, liked the format but would of liked maybe another lap or 2 in each event just to stretch those tyres a bit more  could of done without some of the crazy moves being made by some but the Honda must be pretty hard as even after getting t-boned and lifted into the air like that i appeared to have no damage as the car still drove fine :).
I had no idea what i was going to use for this event so earlier on today i drove all the cars and thought the honda felt the best so decided to use it and i am glad i did, first time in a Honda and got a 9th and a 6th so nothing wrong with that, but a bit lucky that some run dry of fuel when they did :yo: but i guess they will learn to check their fuel usage next time :thumb:
