Caterham drivers safe for rest of season

Newly appointed Caterham Team Principal Christijan Albers had announced that the team's two drivers Kamui Kobayashi and Marcus Ericsson are safe for the rest of the 2014 season.

Albers told GPUpdate: "It's very simple, As long as the drivers are performing, they will stay in the car." This comment should dampen the latest rumours circulating that the Caterham drivers were in danger of being replaced before the end of the season.

Whilst their hopes of staying with the Caterham team in 2015 appear to be slim, Kobayashi and Ericsson can at least be put at ease that they have until the end of the season to impress.

As long as they're performing?

Ericsson is on some serious borrowed time in the case.
The guy spends more time facing the wrong way or in run-offs than he does going round the traffic.
Should never have made it to F1!

He hasnt been any worse than Kobayashi tbh...The car is really ****.
If Ericsson would have driven a Mclaren or Toro Rosso he wouldve done as well as Kyvat and Magnussen...
Put Hamilton in a Caterham and you would see him crash out even more than Ericsson, because they both like the push the car to its limits, and luckily Hamilton have a car that u can do that with..Ericsson has not...

Talked to one of the swedish commentators when i was in Hungary for the Grand Prix. He sad "Marcus car is so bad and heavy it´s like driving wiith hundreds of bricks in the car"

We all know Marcus is a good driver and so is Kamui. The cars are just not suited for there drivingstyle and the chassi is to damn heavy.
