That would be me; I was 2nd and was observing you 2 guys fighting for 4th/5th for some time. When your lap times started to drop I didn't want to lose my concentration and go higher then low 51s. So I decided to move on and give a lap.
Because of those situations, and since sometimes the in-game blue flag system is a bit " retarded" I use a quick wheel button to look behind and I race with TAGs on (they have name and classification in them).
All the same, sorry for somewhat disturb your fight ;)
No problem at all. I wouldn't hold a grudge for something like that, just a fun race. I was turning, and braked when you came really close, and it snapped. My bad. I could see you in my mirrors, but cars are farther than they seem in the mirror, so yeh... Congrats on the 2nd place :)

Pit In & Out - Do we need them? If both cars are aware of each other then there shoudn't be a problem.
I think if drivers pay attention like they should, they wouldn't need people telling them they're exiting the pits. If people stay within the white line, and stay out of oncoming cars' way, the race should go smoothly.

WTCC World Cup:
Welcome to the WTCC World Cup, this is a series of racing nights that are being held over the month of Ferburary and into March if needed.

What happens:WTCC/STCC cars are split into the countries they are manufactured from:

Italy:
Alfa Romeo 156
Alfa Romeo 156 GTA
Alfa Romeo 75

Germany:
BMW 320si e90
BMW 320i e46
BMW E30
Audi A4

Sweden:
Volvo C30
Volvo C60

USA:
Chevrolet Lacetti

Japan:
Honda Accord Euro-R
Honda Accord 2006

France:
Peugeot 407
Peogeot 308 (Thanks Bram)

Spain:
Seat León
Seat Toledo Cupra

Unknown:
BMS Incognito

An example of a possible race night:

France vs Spain

15 Peogeot 407's vs 8 Seat Leon's and 7 Seat Toledo's

So say 7 Seat's finish and 9 Peogeots finsih the Peogeots will go through to the next round

See this isnt about winning is about finishing the race. This will hopefully enourage drivers to finish the race even if they arent doing well.

If in the event of a tie the winner will be the team who didnt finsih last.

Staying in the garage doesnt count as a finish so if you make an error and damage is not repairable, it deosnt count.

The first round:

1st Match:
4th February - Sweden vs France @ Ring Knutstorp

2nd Match:
TBC - Germany vs USA @ Nurburgring GP

3rd Match:
TBC - Japan vs Spain @ Okyama

4th Match:
TBC - Italy vs Unknown @ Varano de Melegari

falkenberg has only been run in one other EU event, when it was released on steam, the previous event was US, and there's plenty of other STCC tracks just looking down the list of recent events, so I wouldn't say it's overused ;)
edit: although I do now see the other event coming up :D

already promised my housemate I would go to the cinema for orange wednesday next week though :(

p.s. I think this event is spelt wrong :p

it sure was a great fight Joao,as i said,it was my first time in the BMW and on wet i was just happy to stay on track. The incident with the lapped driver hitting the wall was just a case of bad luck for me and absolutly no hard feelings to the driver who made the mistake.I had another backmarker later in the race who spun going out on the grass in the chicane and spun wich ofcourse placed him in the middle of the chicane just infront of me,T-boned him but nothing i could do about it and same goes for him as he spun and ended up sideways across the track...all and all a great event and grats to the 2 winners.
Henrik for the race win and Jason for the sweepstakes :D
