I always have respect for the Presto GP guys and gals. They have so much experience driving this type car and they pass info around making them all better drivers. I used Reik's car in the Presto Nord's event yesterday and took ~3 sec off my best time.Skill is something else but the cars they produce in their garages certainly do fly.

So, like many of you Reik's FRR car went to my garage. OK one hotlap later a full second off my best time. Back to watch the video and my next lap is much faster. At this point I see that I really must change my view on driving period. My old 2 stroke motorcycle roadracing days must be forgotten. I've been trying to do that all the time but :whistling: what can an old fart do :coffee:.

Anyhow, my next lap, well look closely at my time as it stands right now 1:53.495 and peek at it tomorrow morning when the new times are up. This is why we're hotlappin' online :geek:

Great combo for some! I hope everyone enjoyed the event.

Q: It came too soon, If I could have made changes to the car during the race I would have been very happy. There were things I didn't get done, even after posting a time.

R: After everything cooled down on L2 I thought for a moment I might be able to hang on but by L3 I could see that was not going to happen. Concentrate, concentrate, avoid bad mistakes. Luckily in the end I didn't make any really bad ones or at least I didn't make any at the wrong time. So happy to finish :O_o:

I liked this combination, the fact I seem to be good at it is a bonus.

Spent pretty much the entire race with @Mark Hellsten. I thought I was clear after he made a couple of mistakes, but I spun into a wall on the penultimate lap. The damaged suspension from this crash and now heavily worn tyres made my car almost impossible to drive quickly. Staggered round the last lap trying to keep Mark behind, but to no avail.

Still got a podium though, so I'm not exactly unhappy.
