The 1970 layout is the very fast layout where the very, very long back straight (from Leeukop to Crowthorne) allows for multiple slipstreaming place changes each lap in the Caterhams.

Last time we raced here, it was a couple of superb races.

But yes, it's a epic track, and suits these cars with their mad slipstreaming down to the ground.

I'll be there, and it's a stonking track for cats.

Yes, 5th gear is possible on the long start/finish straight as long as you're in the slipstream.

Yeah, it is possible, but you need to time it right for it to be beneficial.

Basically, whether 5th works properly and beneficially will be determined by your exit at Leeuwkop and how close you are to the driver in front of you, and whether you can get into 5th while still in the slipstream.
