Drivers, since this is a multi manufacturer event, please have your car choice in by Friday 17:00 EDT | 21:00 GMT | 07:00 AEST to guarantee your car selection so we can finalize the server. Late sign up get what's left on a first come first served basis. Thank you for understanding.
A message to all Drivers
If you run off track, you have to check and see that its clear before you re-enter the track. Do not just keep the gas pinned and pull back on track.
When entering the track from the pits stay off the racing line until you are up to speed and do not race on your out lap. Let other drivers by in qualifying.
On re-entering the track stay off the racing line until you are up to race speed and do not block any fast approaching car. Remember, you've made the mistake by going off so let them by cleanly.
Golden Rule
  1. Be 100% sure it's not your fault and just carry on like nothing happened and take the risk of being banned for 30 days.
  2. Play on the safe side and wait for the affected drivers, knowing 100% sure you will not get a ban.
Track limits
  1. No more than 2 wheels over the white/yellow line without a complete lift of the gas please if it is safe to do so.
You will be penalized if you break our rules
Note: Please use your full real name in teamspeak. Not doing so may result in you being kicked from the server if an admin cannot identify you as a premium member.

I guess I will go for some more abuse in this little box car. At least I got time to practice
Just rebuilt my rig for my setup cause i was getting a lot of movement under braking. I forgot some gussets when originally built

Yeah ... deal me in ... I could use some fun. LSD, please.

Some years ago (1996) Ron Champion over in England decided that the world needed more fun and wrote a book, "Build Your own Sports Car For as Little as 250 (Pounds Stirling ... but I figure it could be done under $500 in the US) and RACE IT!" The little car was a copy of the original Lotus Seven and was named The Lowcost Seven because using scrap yard components made it so cheap to build.

I have always wanted to build my own car, be it something VW bug or motorcycle based or whatever. After I read Champion's book, all work stopped on the restoration of the MGB-GT parked in my garage ... all I needed was a trashed Mazda MX-5.

To date I have accumulated about 2 pounds of writings and drawings on building a Lowcost Seven. Everytime I begin to get started ... something BIG comes up and the Lowcost goes back on the shelf. >sigh<

Someday!

I've done a number of .01 mods to mine as well. Fortunately, when I put together my most recent chassis, I built in a good measure of adjust-ability.

Flogging the Caterham around the gymkhana/hill climb that Cadwell Park is, I see that my shifter needs to go forward about an inch and higher about the same amount.

I'm going to have to make some time to try this car at Bathurst, sort of the Australian version of this track.
