F1 2013 Catalunya - Spain (Dry)

F1 2013 The Game (Codemasters)
I use google translate, sorry.

I did some tire test on career practice, 100% race.
1st setup to minimize tire wear:
Code:
Aerodynamics
Front Wing Angle: 1
Rear Wing Angle: 1

Braking
Balance: F 50% - R 50%

Balance
Front Anti-Roll Bar: 1
Rear Anti-Roll Bar: 1

Suspension
Front Ride Height: 6
Ride Height: 6
Front Spring Stiffness: 1
Rear Spring Stiffness: 1

Gearbox
default

Engine
Fuel Map: min

Alignment
Camber Front: full right
Camber Rear: full right
Toe Front: def
Toe Rear: def

2nd setup to maximize tire wear
Code:
Aerodynamics
Front Wing Angle: 11
Rear Wing Angle: 11

Braking
Balance: F 50% - R 50%

Balance
Front Anti-Roll Bar: 11
Rear Anti-Roll Bar: 11

Suspension
Front Ride Height: 6
Ride Height: 6
Front Spring Stiffness: 11
Rear Spring Stiffness: 11

Gearbox
default

Engine
Fuel Map: min

Alignment
Camber Front: full left
Camber Rear: full left
Toe Front: def
Toe Rear: def
Soft tires for both.

And after full 10 laps + 1 to go in box tire condition is:
1st setup: 35%
2nd setup: 33%
There is no difference. So, what is the point of sacrifice speed for reduce tire wear, if it no really "reduce"?

What really matters is how comfortable you are with a particular setup on a particular circuit. If the stiff setup is faster in Quali but you are always making mistakes causing you to lose time in the race than it's no good. focus on which setup will make you most consistent and that will help much more than anything else

I've made this on Xbox 360 joypad. The car was very stable and fast out from curves, very great sensibility. Let me know if you can improve this setup. Thank you

Ronnie, I love your setups. I run with a fanatec CSR on the xbox and race 100% length/ no assists on expert in career and in a league here. But one thing perplexes me...why so high on the ride height so often? I almost never see any of the top guys use anything but 1/1.
I noticed in Bahrain, there were really some curbs, especially in the first sector, that could ruin your lap. Do you think the trade off (whatever it is) in handling is worth the height? And if so, does the higher ride really allow you to not be affected by the nasty curbs? Thanks. Keep 'em coming. They work great for me.

This is a great set up, but I personally made the front and rear camber a bit less extreme, as I ran into overheating issues on my front left and general wear issues on all tyres.

Can anyone recommend me setup for 100% Race ? I gues i wonna know the difference between hot lap setup and full race setup. I can beat my team mate in qualy but in race he is much faster !! I drive only 100% race duration, assist everything off and legend AI.

Gigisan's setup is awesome if you want pole and to pull away in the opening 5 laps. I put the car on pole but had to resort to a 4 stop because tyre wear was SO bad. I am doing a 100% race and I would advise tinkering some things for better tyre wear because the AI somehow keep their tyres fresh for ages.
