This mod needs to be updated with proper turbo model. The fake turbo behaviour is taking the fun out of driving these things. For me anyway

@Patrick Giranthon In the previous version, the 1.25, cars were not sooooo extreme in acceleration as in version 1.30 and the FFB of the steering wheel feels much better than in the latest version, can not change this?

CART Extreme AMS v1.50

Finally Its here!
I just received the package from the dev team and will upload to RD asap.

Change log:

Added AMS turbo model to all 4 engines
Added new AMS AI parameters
Updated driver model & added animated arms
Updated driver suits
Slightly adjusted tire physics
Slightly adjusted default setup
Increased maximum LOD distance to latest AMS standards
Adjusted audio balance to suit latest AMS standards

I just received the package, but not in time to upload before real life got in the way. Give about 6 hours and I should have it up.

A packaging error was noticed just before release. My OCD has been a benefit for once. Give an hour or two more to have the final final release uploaded.

It's here! The CART mod for Automobilista with an authentic Reiza turbo model, the latest AI parameters, tire physics improvements, and improved sound samples to bring the CART mod up to AMS 1.51 standards.

You should be able to upgrade an existing installation by overwriting your existing version. However I recommend removing your old version first by deleting the following folders...

\GameData\Sounds\CART_Extreme
\GameData\Talent\CART
\GameData\Vehicles\CART_Extreme

"Swift009c_Fittipaldi.gen" appears to be missing.
Copying "Swift009c_Andretti.gen" and renaming the file works since they are the same model.

No he will be missing due to the error in the gen files... working with the dev team now for a fix.

If you have downloaded the 1.50 package already use the attached file to patch your install.

Rename "Swift009c_Fittipaldi.txt" to "Swift009c_Fittipaldi.gen" and move the file to ...

\GameData\Vehicles\CART_Extreme\1998\Swift_Teams

Yeah... just too bad my (much) improved on board cams aren't there but no one has tell me this new (much) improved version is coming. Many great and inspiring new angles there. Oh well ok... guess I'll just have to publish them as an stand alone add-on mod. Never mind, no biggie. Great work guys !
