Career Mode not progressing

I got AC in the Black Friday sale (and a G29 for £160!) and am diving in to driving all sorts, so decided to try the career mode.

I got silver, gold in the first two challenges but now I can't progress. I got the requisite number of points for gold in the next time attack but when I finish the session is says 0 points and I have no more medals. I tried the other events in Novice to the same result. As it stands I can't score and can't progress.

I looked to wipe the career and start again but all the posts are old and tips don't work. Any clues?

I tried to validate the install in Steam. Everything OK.

I then dug deeper and found I do have the 'career.ini' file, but in C:\Documents\Assetto Corsa, where the game is on D:, where I was looking before. I renamed it, restarted the game and my progress was gone.
Smashed out a Gold score in the first event, ended session and the pop us shows 0 points, 0 laps

Well, whatever I tinkered with, it worked! Progress is happening.

I have always the "problem" which actually is not a problem - After the race i have to wait before the summary/results screen. If i quit earlier the results or progress in this case will not save.

Hey guys, seems like I am having the same issue but I cant find the solution amywhere. I get 1st, 2nd or 3rd ans the race result is not saved at all. Its very frustrating as some races I won are pretty hard. I tried checking files via Steam already but it didn't fix, and it is not the issue of waiting for tables to show up, I do wait for them.

Any help will be appreciated.
