career.ini - reset somehow... can I use yours?

My career.ini has been reset for some reason... can I use yours?

I don't see any PC specific info in this file, so sharing it should work.
C:\Users\Troy\Documents\Assetto Corsa\launcherdata\filestore ~ career.ini

Can someone upload their completed career.ini file here please?

I was about 75% complete and I don't want to do all the early crap again...

I just want my GT's back!!!!!!!!!

Cant help you with the career file as I don't play it but I will say that backups are your friend. For technical support you should head over the official forums and post your log files, they may be able to track down what happend.

Thanks Stereo, I edited my career.ini with your results & it got me part way...

Most importantly, it taught me that I can use anyone's career!

I lost my career progress too, so I had to learn how to edit. Fortunately it's very easy.
Deleted from my career.ini the custom championships I have, only left the original content. The progress is 100%, but you can edit very easily:
1. You have to choose which series want to make unfinished:
Go to steam\common\assettocorsa\content\career folder, there are series1-series28 (series 15 is missing, series100 doesn't matter). Find the ones you need (I guess the GT races are 20s). Open the series.ini in the root, and you can see which series is about.
- delete these series from the "COMPLETE=" line top of the career.ini
- and delete also from the text body. For example series20 is this:

Thx for the file & editing tips... that's mostly what I was looking for... I was hoping to get a completed career.ini file and some tips on how to "blank out" or reset GT3's & the later / specific series.

Good news for anyone experiencing a similar issue (blanked out career after game update).

Recap: when my game auto-updated via Steam, my career was reset & all my progress was blanked out.
Our friends "Stereo" & "solyomtibor" posted career.ini files so I could regain a portion of my career progress.

In the process of saving the files they shared, re-naming them and backing up my blank career.ini files, I found another folder that had my original career.ini file in it & got all my progress back!

The game uses this folder to save your career.ini =
C:\Users\Troy\Documents\Assetto Corsa\launcherdata\filestore

This "old" renamed folder had my original career in it =
C:\Users\Troy\Documents\Assetto Corsa\old_launcherdata_000\filestore

Thanks for the help guys & good luck to anyone trying to recover a carreer after an update...
