Cant race after mod download

Can anyone help. I can start AC and pick a circuit and car load the race but instead of getting into the paddock it puts me back to the menu?
Any ideas?

I think you will need to provide more information, if you only had the problem after adding a mod, try deleting it and see if that helps.

Please don't say you are trying to play time attack on a mod track.
