Cant get the LED's to work - RGB WS2812B + Simhub + Bootloader Black Pro Micro ATmega32U4.

Hey

Hi
I have tried RGB REV LIGHTS w SIMHUB but can not get the LEDs to work.

I bought these components:

I have tried to connect it like this.

SO;
VCC -> 5v
GND -> GND
10 -> DIN

all the arrows on the conductors are in the same direction and point away from the arduino.

Here are my simhub setup:

when up upload to aruduino:

Then i try to test it in the test data editor:

But the leds dosent light up.

I haved tried to:
- changed COM number
- changed the data pin from number 6 to number 10
- changed cable to the computer
- changed settings for the rpms in simhub

Anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to make this work? O:)

Upload successful meant the COM number and cable to computer were OK.
If, as SimHub documents, all configured red LEDs do not light at Arduino startup
(before starting SimHub), then wiring to LEDs (power and/or signal from Arduino) are wrong
or WS2812B is defective.

FWIW, I would not expect to supply power for so many LEDs from USB vi Arduino.

I would recommend you take a close look at all solder points just to make sure there is no short in between any connections. In the provided picture on the led sitting flat it appears the black and purple ends may be touching
