i had the same problem.... loooooooong gears meant it was sluggish as hell thru the first half of the track.... but then it's maximum acceleration for about 4 days on the 2nd half.... 150mph minis are go!

And that's my point. What is the better copromise? Long gears or short gears? First gears a much bigger gap than between last gears or vice versa?

Nigel, would you post your setup here?

eat my dust :p

i`m hitting 160mph just before the braking for the final turn, just nailed a 2:28.9 but still some slight mistakes :)

yep gears are so important here, try these

10/35
7/18
16/33
8/14
26/39
31/39

try to avoid hitting the limiter as this knocks your top speed back, i can hit 159 MPH easy with these gears i also clicked 5th and 6th up 1 and hit 160 MPH without hitting limiter but it feels a little slow building up to that speed.

An other question:

Can someone who also has installed the offline GTRevo tell me the correct path structure to the mini folder into the gamedata/teams folder?

Because I want to give the AI my setup with longer gearbox. May be it's a way to test fighting and slipstreaming offline.

thx

:good:
