camera views

sorry if this has been asked before, but where do i go to find information on camera views, i'm stuck in the "hood" view, i'd like to be able to switch to swing, cockpit etc...

any info would be greatly appreciated

edit/just to clarify, i want to know how to get the camera's higher than they are..what area can i change for this..as i see the thing you mentioned DavidI, the swing camera just sits waaaaaay too low, needs alot of height and closer..where do i go in the view file for that

The cameras are defined in car.ini, as camera0 through camera9 sections. Adjusting the offset moves them - x is left/right, y is down/up, z is forward/backward. The follow settings affect which ways it rotates to match the car, and cameras on springs have a src setting which they bounce away from.
