one thing we didn't try was running it thru race 07 instead of gtre... not sure if the rain effect thing came with gtre or existed before.... :wave:

There are 2 lines in the PLR file for Thunder & Lightning probability, perhaps we could see if setting both to 0 will remove this issue?

I applied for the premium membership, as i comply to all criteria for some time allready.
The a admin/staff member told me they would look in to that.
But till now I did not receive an answer.

Race 1: I got caught in the T1 mess. I haven't looked at the replay yet, but I remember someone barrelling past me way too fast into T1/T2. I was just in a mess of cars, trying to go forward, getting bumped in the rear... it was a shambles. I qualified 8th and cam out of T2 in 20th. It really does make you wonder, why waste all that time qualifying?

I wonder if we should almost have a rule like: no passing in T1. Almost like a rolling start...stay in formation into T2 until the field settles down. People just barge through T1 trying to make up a few early places, but all it does is causes chaos. Or maybe even try a full rolling start... I dunno. T1 online can almost be as useless as racing against the AI when they all just stop in T1.

Race 2: Sorry Michael Stead - I think it was you I hit in the last corner on about lap 3. I wasn't sure... I waited until half the field went past and then got going again. I had a nice chase with Cam for some laps, catching up to him for a good duel, but I spun in the right/left S at the end of the back straight and that was that.

The Honda was getting quite understeery, and reminded me again how much easier the Seat is on tires.

Excuse friends, much late for me.

In Brazil we are in the summer schedule, before mines races finished 12:00 p.m., but now am finishes 1:00 am. I have that to wake up the 5:30 am, as the race would go to start 30 minutes later is very late for me. It ties next sunday.:wave:

Welcome USA time some event.


This race is primarily aimed towards our members in the United-states, Canada, and South America so the race times are set for that zone. However, we welcome entrants from other timezones who would like to race at this time and help us to maximize our starting grid.
The only thing we ask is that priority be given to US/Canada and south american members since they often don't get the opportunity to race other events.

For this event, we will use the WTCC 07 cars and will use the Mosport 1977 track

Signups will close 1Hr before the Practice start time

Please read this

due to numerous pillup at T1 on lap1 in all racing club event i will ask everybody to be more cautious at T1. i will also remind you all the code of conduct of RD about contact.

1. all contact must be avoided, if it happen the driver that have hit or you think it was your fault and caused the other to spin or to go off track must slow down safely and let the other driver regain his place. if it involve you loosing a few places by doing so consider that as your penality.

2. when hitting someone an apology is in place, either by saying sorry by the way of quick chat or after the race in the chat.

3. in chat RD will not tolerate not respecting a fellow driver and will kick the offended driver and might even get ban from the racing club.

those rules are there so everybody can enjoy their racing experience in a clean, fair and friendly environment.
