Bugbear teases with Next Car Game

The latest title of Bugbear Entertainment was Ridge Racer: Unbounded which looked stunning in the pre-release videos but was received with mixed feelings by the dedicated console and PC fans of the Finnish developer. The attempted mix between their biggest success titles Ridge Racer and FlatOut resulted car physics, track design and gameplay feeling unbalanced while their in game track editor was absolutely stunning.

Now Bugbear released a teaser on YouTube with the announcement they are working on a new car game that goes back to their roots (Ridge Racer or FlatOut?) with the work-title "Next Car Game". Video includes all real-time in-game footage.

why would it have cockpit view? whole point of flatout was not ever to be a sim but to be a fun game that you can play by yourself or with your mates with the stadium games they used to have

I was thinking the same thing. That was my Favorite game on PS1 back then. That and Wipeout.
