First off, I'm a rookie with a xbox controller, assists on except braking, automatic Gearbox :( I miss my wheel..anyway.

Last night, I did a lot of laps with Evileyes set-up. Granted, a fair few of those were getting to know the track which I did pretty fast. So, a lot of fliers, lapping consistently, flat out. Qualified pole and then raced, won (intermediate level) and came back and posted a 1.22.444 in TT.
Today, I put on Bram's set-up and within 3 laps was 2 fulls seconds faster.
Then I jumped on here to share this, my first post.

The only thing is, you'd need a lot of practice to bring this set-up around in a long race. It was a lot twitchier. I spun a couple of times on my first lap or two, then blistered the 1.20.414 so it would need consistenly good lines and use of the pedals. This may be where my wheel/pedals and manual gears would've really counted.

So, going by my crappy set-up, the winner is Bram.
I haven't tried Hulk's becaue I couldn't be arsed with translating MPH.
I will try David's. Thanks to all :)

I'm really struggling on this track. Have tried all set ups in this post. Could only qualify 6th in season 1. With virgin. Can only make 1.25.4.

I'm purple in sector 1 and 3, all my time goes in sector 2. Does anyone have any advice please?

I've had the same issue but I've found that if you set your ride height and suspension not quite as low and stiff as you'd have liked (1 to the right should do on each if that) and you take the chicaine (turns 8 & 9) slightly straighter then you gain quite a bit of speed and time through those corners alone. Hope that helps.

I hope you guys realize that Bram's setups are usually for time trials, which means no tire wear, an empty gas tank and perfect grip. In Multi-player with all assists off the car is heavier and feels very different. Also, Bram is going for hot laps, so his setups are not designed for a long race. The setups are good and sometimes I'll go with them until I find a better one. Or I will change them a little. On this track I believe his wings are set at 5 and 3, so I moved them to 7 and 5 for racing with assists off.

Bram's setup has been very useful for my last races although it doesn't fit my car instantly. I know he does'em for TT and cars with "natural" grip like mclaren, RBR etc. Since I'm on carrer mode, with fuel and tire sim on and worst of all, driving a willians in professional difficulty, my job is to take Bram's setup and apply more wing (usually +2). Frequently I also got to lower the gears 2-3 clicks.

With these tweaks I often get 1st or 2nd row. For the race, I suggest reorder camber and toe or do two pit stops (!). This all and quite a knowledge of the track, since his setups lead to "dangerous" driving, gives us, pilots of 2nd or 3rd class cars, the best the car can get on track, witch is why I came here in the first place.

1.16.4 in TT with that set up. Works really nicely.

Will try Bram's and tweak accordingly.

Just did a 1:23.846 with Bram's setup for Q2 (5th) in career mode (1st season with Virgin). I adjusted the wing to 6 front 3 rear and went with the default alignment settings.

Tyre + Fuel sims ON
ABS ON
TCS MED
Racing Line OFF
Manual Gears

I agree with most people saying that Bram's setups are for TT but most of the setups posted are for TT. It would be nice if people stated what setups they used to get the times they post and if it was TT or Race/Career. In general you can use a TT setup for race, just dial the alignment settings back to the middle and increase the wing a bit.

Works for me

EvilEyez setup with ballast distribution 80%-20% and gears 4-7 a step up. Career year 3 of 7. Mclaren, legend, no assists exept traction. Qualification 1:22:476, third behind the two Red bulls. First in race, 1:22:108 not race fastest, followed by Hamilton and Alonso.
Momo racing wheel.

It would really helpful if people would post what platform they are on also, as it appears that the game reacts differently on each platform... Along with whether you are in TT or Race mode and what tires you are running...

For example, I have been struggling with a setup for this track and have tried all that are on this thread and the best I can muster in Q1-Q3 is 124.650... A far cry from the times posted here...

I'm in season 2, legend, no assists except traction control, tire sim is on and no fuel sim... I racing for Red Bull and usually stomp the field by more than a second in Q1-Q3, but not on this track...

This setup feels very very slow to me, but without it, the car is a PIG in the turns... I am losing over 2 seconds a lap in sector 2...

WTF, over???

Hi people.
I need some advices for this track.
In TT with Mercedes, i signed a 1:18:034 w/ this setup

Aerodynamics
Front Wing Angle: 2
Rear Wing Angle: 1

Braking
Balance: F50 x% - R50 x%
Pressure: High
Brake Size: Small

Balance
Ballast Distribution: F30 x% - R70 x%

I don't remember it now (i'm at work) when i'll come home tonight i will post it

Engine
Throttle map: Fast
Fuel: N/A (Time Trial)

Alignment
Camber front: -1.4
Camber rear: (visually aligned below with the camber front, maybe it's -3,4)
Toe front: 0.05
Toe rear: (same as the camber rear, it's visually aligned below the toe front, maybe -0,20)

I don't miss a turn, but I feel like i can reach the 1:17:000 at least. how can i improve the traction?
for me, the improvement to do, it's about grip... what do you guys think?
