Brazilian SimRacing Search 2015 - EPAV - Initial Considerations
The research of virtual Brazilian auto racing was held in the period from 8/5/15 to 9/5/15, after about 2 months of preparation (design, organization and dissemination) for Virtual racing teams and drivers-EPAV.
The goal of this research is to know the profile and capture the opinions of practitioners of Sim Racing - AV, to serve as a knowledge base for future actions that involve the development of the activity in the country.
The form was drafted on Google forms and made available in the page itself built by EPAV (https://avpesquisa.wordpress.com/). Were 75 closed and open questions, divided into 9 blocks (profile, income, equipment, participation, self-assessment and evaluation of the opponents, leagues, teams, final thoughts and item 75-AV considerations), covering, comprehensively, the scenery of the national AV.
The work of dissemination of the research involved the development and delivery of advertisements and texts on EPAV page on Facebook, on sites specializing in auto racing and some inserts transmissions of SimRacing events on the channels of search partners.
At the end of the collection phase, 437 questionnaires were completed successfully.
The results will be published on EPAV page on Facebook daily, from Monday to Friday in the mornings. Will be 2 to 4 graphics available per day, according to the theme of each of them. This method of disclosure aims to stimulate debate around the information obtained by the public from SimRacing. In all, will be 71.
All information will be subsequently available compiled search page to query. A final report is also being prepared to be handed over to the AV community after the disclosure of all information on this page.
