Good for a challenge
I will take a slot please.
I'm in but... I know it's not gonna be easy
Havent used R3E for quite a while.
I am over 10 seconds off the pace!!
The car seems very 'loose' at the front while braking. Any thoughts guys??
I’ll talk you through my setup on teamspeak mate
great Steve. Thx
I too would be glad to help if I can. See you on teampeak shortly.
Best throw me in the Bear pit, 12 hrs of constant testing and not a missed beat.
You're in guys
I will be there... Just getting home now!
zzzz lost connection during second race
A good fun clean race couple of screw ups. But still had fun.
Well done to the podium finishes in both races and well done all of course.
And thank you for the event organisers.
Thanks for the racing.
Thanks for the help and for the racing tonight guys.
For me, this was a tough car to drive and I got tired very quickly.
I might just see you on Zhuhai again later.
Yeah, no stream from me, unfortunately. I tried to stream, but it resulted in horrible stuttering, despite there apparently being more than enough CPU power this time. Restart didn't help, it only robbed me of qualification. Still don't know what happened, it seems it just went away now Streaming on a hardware limited machine can be quite frustrating
Not that it really mattered all that much, there wasn't much to watch anyway. First race was basically ruined for me in the start by the stuttering and then a lack of practice/warm up, though we had a bit of a backmarker race with @kamackeris there eventually. And the second race was only marginally better, with me eventually retiring. Oh well. Onwards and upwards, I guess.
Thanks for the race, though!
What a one unlucky evening for me. First I messed up right before a start of the race by returning to garage for a quick fuel adjustment, but... sorry to late, the race has started.
So my first race was just me sitting in the games timing menu and watching sector and lap times of @Martin Fiala and @kamackeris fighting each other even I couldn't see them on the track. An interesting new experience for me.
Second race a little bit better. I managed to get into the race and I even started this time. So I'm racing in the back and thinking... hmmmm... I must forgot something... something important... windows in the house closed? Checked. Dog has been taken out? I don't have a dog. God damn it! I forgot to start Crew Chief! So my second race had to be super cautious. Not only these cars are so difficult to handle but if this is not enough I had to be extremely aware of my surrounding. And how Crew Chief is important during a race I found when colliding with @Martin Fiala who seems to lost control in one of the turns and his car slided into my car but because of lack of information I couldn't avoid that incident. Sorry about that Martin.
Anyway, these cars are fun to drive but very challenging especially under braking. Great for one race from time to time but I wouldn't dare to race it regullarly.
Thanks for another racing evening guys and of course congrats to the podium winners
