BMW and Lacetti sound question

Something that has been bugging me, not matter how many video's i watch of onboards of both of these cars you always get a bassy rumble as the driver comes off the throttle, yet you dont get it in RACE07. I personally think it would be more immersive if these rumble's were there

Here's one of a BMW E90 and dont say its the rumble strips because its not, for example when he shifts down into the corner after the 2nd chicane.

And here's one of the Lacetti which you can probably hear it better on.

The only bassy rumble I hear is the same identical over and over, when the car is turning, not necessarily being off the throttle. Probably tire/suspension related, with touching something on the side of the tarmac as number one reason.

I'm not sure yet what particualr noise you refer to, but I would go 1st with differential/transmission noise (the most likely) or air intake noise (less likely).

Either of them can be more evident when coming out of the acelerator as the direct engine noise (combustion) goes down.
