BMW´s coming to iRacing

BMW M3 GT2, BMW Z4 GT3 and a NGTC BMW for BTCC,

M3 GT2 ---- Ford GT
Z4 GT3 ---- Mclaren MP4-12C
NGTC BMW ---- NGTC Honda

This is exactly what has been licensed although I have gone back and asked them to put the One Series car in as we will likely build that car in the BTCC spec instead of the 320si which seems to be getting phased out.

I tried to get the DTM car but it has to be licensed through the series and not BMW so that is a battle left for another day. As it is it will take us 2 years to get all of these cars built. The proper poll now would be what car out of these three would you like to see built first?

The GT3 car to run in the same class at the McLaren
The GT2 car to run in the same class as the Ford GT
the 320si or 1 Series car to run in the same class as the Honda

Great news .

I would love to see the GT2 car personally as I run the ford presently.

Glad to see iracing are getting their act together , as I have not got into it much until this season.

yea good to see that FINALLY they realize the other side of the ocean actually has cars.
Proper ones not some sideways Jetta that nobody really wanted.

+1 on that pablo. one of the joys of btcc and wtcc is running the rear wheel bmw against the front wheelers, one could nicely simulate that with the honda and bmw out at opreatty much the same time. have missed touring cars ever since moving to iRacing. next gt3 as maccas are very populat atm and last the gt2, though it is the best looking of the lot, lol.

we´ll probably get them in 2045 seeing as iRacing have been working on a shitty KIA.....

It will not come in this build though.
If iRacing will lose customers it´s because they have a habit of bringing in cars nobody really wanted, regardless if the manufacturer wanted to work with them.

AC can´t come soon enough.
