Nope and nope - you can easily drive the 45 minutes with the same tyres and enough fuel for the race. Pitting will most definitely leave you very far behind.

@Daniel Monteiro I think you did it again, times for the event are listed in post #1 as being for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. is this correct.
