Black/Grey Mirrors. Please help!

Hello, fellow racers.

So, yesterday I brought the Race Injection pack (retail, and a side note, I still hate steam for making me work over 6 hours on installing it). I kinda wanted some racing after watching Empty Box on youtube. Of course I can't match him, but, I still had to race.

Anyway, did a few laps (hours actually) around Okayama, and, something kept on bugging me: The mirrors on the action cam were not working.

Now, don't get me wrong, the mirrors are working, but only in the driver's view, and with the virtual mirror. Now, I can't drive the driver's view because I'm used to one seaters and centered sight, and the virtual mirror is useless during overtakes, because it doesn't pick the guy next to me until he is behind me, so, I have no idea if I'll hit him or not if I enter the next corner more aggressively.

I looked around this forum and saw a post about green mirrors and how verifying the cache of the steam files might solve it. I did it, nothing solved, as you can see.

So, anyone has any ideas how I could fix this?

So when real mirrors is on there is still no mirrors?

Mirrors only work in cockpit view:

They don't work for me in action view either. It's just the way the game is made

Oh... now that sucks. Guess I'm stuck with the virtual mirror then. Thanks for the reply! Appreciate it.
