Big FFB spikes - T500rs

Hi Guys,

The FFB felt through my T500rs spikes really high when driving over curbs and I wanted to check if there is something I can do about it.
In order for me to drive without the whole house experiencing an earthquake with magnitude 7, I have to put FFB smoothing all the way up to 9. As everyone always suggests that FFB smoothing compromises FFB, am I missing something? Is there some other setting that reduces these spikes?

Cheers

Just tried the track with the vette. I think it's normal.

Hitting a curb at 180km/h :geek:

Try to drive over them at 25-30km. You'll notice that the 50 cm stones are at an angle and are bumbs of 3-4 cm.
Other tracks have more flat curbs. So much less noticable.

BTW: there is a pedal plugin that shows you if your FFB is clipping.

I tried the plugin...so with FFB gain 0.85 on the corvette, the FFB is pretty normal (I should even increase the gain) and the FFB bar stays below the half mark in turning but over curbs, shoots all the way up and clips.
This is definitely not normal...even if I don't drive with 180kkm/h still does it. For example, the second to last corner (the slow right hander) is one of the worst places for this where the whole wheel shakes.
