PC2 Best in game graphics settings for VR

Hey Guys, I would like to understand the best settings to optimize my system in VR.

System Info:
i7-6700 @ 3.4GHz
16 GB RAM
64 Bit
GTX 980 4GB
Monitor 34" curved (what a waste with VR huh?)
native resolution: 3440x1440

My question... for VR in games like pC2, AC, R3E, Dirt... should i set the in game video resolution to 1080p - 1920x1080
Will this help my FPS?

Also, what's the best options to reduce.. Shadows, Reflections, etc.

I would like car details, track details, and other details as high as possible... grass to low is fine.

Pretty much went with the settings explained in this thread here at RD: http://www.racedepartment.com/threads/vr-guide-setup-settings-and-general-tips.141693/

And then edited my ingame graphics config xml file to get the new sharpening filter for PC2 according to this post: http://forum.projectcarsgame.com/sh...-Vr-(Oculus)&p=1484134&viewfull=1#post1484134

Works ok for my aging system (i7-2600k@4.2GHz + GTX 1070) and still looks good.

wow, Frank you can run super sampling at 1.0 I have to leave at zero... in Oculus Debug tool
