Hey guys

Okay here are the skins created by me over the last few weeks.

38 in total, 19 Chevrolet and 19 Peugeot.

All completely fictional of course, but I hope you enjoy them.

I have given all the cars different numbers and names from the originals in game, so you should be able to run them alongside the original skins.

Pretty new to the modding aspect on the rfactor platform, and this is my first attempt.

Haven't found a way to have the game read a new RFM file hence the reason for the new numbers and names.

1970 The World Sportscar Championship 1.00 seems to be a quality mod that could use some extra love. I wish somebody would convert it to GSCE with permission, and apply some Reiza magic to it (shaders etc). (@Patrick Giranthon, I'm thinking of you

I've tested 5 cars of the mod so far:

Porsche 908/02
Lola T70 mk3B
Porsche 917L
Porsche 911S
Ford GT40 mk1

I made setups and dialed in the Realfeel with Motec (at Johannesburg historical, aka Kyalami). Each of the car feels different and very beliavable. For example, I was surprised how similar the Lola was compared to rFactor 2's ISI version (named Howston): it has the same "boatiness" that some drivers hate and some love (@Matej Lakota). My personal favourite so far is Ford GT40, which drives so sweetly but is unfortunately slower than the Porsches (excluding the low powered 911S, of course).

Only thing that seems to be slightly off with the mod is relatively high dynamic tyre pressures. I may do some testing with modified values later.

Let's the Caterham and the CART come first. My time is consumed for the moment by tracks, another important part of what can be added to the original content.

Does yours work with the Metalmoro? My rfDYnHud works with all cars except the Metalmoro

Everything works fine after I did a reinstall of rfDynHud even with Metalmoro

Btw, is it possible to set RealFeel per car class? That is how it's done in the original WSC-mod for rFactor. At the moment I have to set them for each car individually...

You would need to edit the description in the .veh file for each car so they first 5 letters of the description were the same for each class.

This game is incredibly buggy, I've had so many random screwy things like that happen that I've pretty much stopped playing it.

I'll do that, but will it cause any problems? In other words do the .veh-descriptions have any other connections?

It should not do Jyri. Obviously make sure they are different from any other realfeel entries. It will change the entry displayed in game as well.
