F1 2010 Awesome career race at Valencia.

Lotus yr 2/7.
Some upgrades have been flowing through the system.
Now have 3 throttle maps, improved brake friction (10%), improved downforce (20%), improved rear downforce (5%). And the Lotus is coming alive.
P2 in Wet Canada and then
Valencia.
Struggled in Quali. (P14). Fantastic first stint pitted (lap 8) for primes from 4th having passed 10 cars on the track and pulled a gap allowing me to rejoin in P7.
4th place again by lap 12 and hunting down Button (from 11 sec gap to 8 sec) at 1 sec per lap.
Moments distraction as I looked at the gap time and damaged front wing eneded that chase.
Able to defend from Webber and finished 4th.
This car is getting faster. May stick with Lotus and go all the way!

Sounds like fun. Looking forward to seeing some upgrades on my lotus.

Ensure you click on accept in the engineer menu (after you have done yr setup as he will put you straight on the track). Don't re start the session and dont change engine and you will earn the upgrade.

Sounds very good david. Ive got a 100% race coming up at Valencia. Dont have any time to practice so i just got to hope i can get through the race

Don't get too carried away, ai sucks pretty bad in Valencia so it's not so much the car improving, but the ai being quite bad at this track

If you're still feeling the same way after the next race at Silverstone where ai have good pace, then you can start rejoicing

ah ha, so it was two tracks with slow AI lulling me into a false sense of security.
