F1 2012 Autosave Problem

Is anyone else experiencing the Autosave bug? Whereby, you just can't save anything, and you can only progress as far as you get in one session of playing, and once you quit and reboot, everything that you just did is gone.

So far, I've tried,
- Restarting my career
- Manually saving (which still doesn't save)

Initially I thought it was caused because I edited the ai_vehicle_track for Melbourne, so I put the original file back in, but that hasn't worked either.

Does anyone know of a solution? Or why this is caused?

Oh, I see what you mean. I had not followed the procedure myself, and of course it's coop mode, so another controller is required for sure.

I think if it stopped the corruption permanently it would be a solution not a workaround

Edit - Oh I see they implied it was a 'quick fix'.

yeah a quick fix..and as u can see, not a fix at all for keyboard players..

For ppl with keyboard only, I guess you can use a gamepad/joystick emulator on windows (search google or check http://www.zophar.net/joy.html) it's a little program that will create a virtual gamepad from some of the keys (i used it to play some co-op games some time ago) and used those keys in the multi-player fix.
