Reiza Studios have deployed a new update to their Automobilista 2 racing simulation - adding various fixes and improvements as well as the first pass at a new multiplayer broadcasting suite within the title.
  • New multiplayer broadcasting suite added.
  • Numerous physics updates.
  • Art and optimisation passes on several tracks.

A new update is here for Automobilista 2 - the final such build release for August as the studio prepare for their next major deployment towards the end of September.

In this new build AMS 2 benefits from several small tweaks and improvements to many aspects of the core gameplay and of course several pieces of content within the title - as well as a first release of the new broadcasting tool that is now available in multiplayer situations for racers to improve the realism and performances of online race streaming.

You can check out the full update notes from the latest build, and advisories from Reiza Studios about V1.0.2.7 below:

Notes from the developer:

lease note that cars with relevant default setup changes (specially differential changes which most cars have had adjusted) requires you to reset your car setup to default in case any modifications were made to the previous default - to reset all setups (autosaved or not) you may opt to delete the contents of Documents\Automobilista 2\savegame\123456789\automobilista 2\tuningsetups folder (noting the bold number folder will vary from system to system); you do not however need to delete your entire user profile folder.

No replay, no Motec support. no longer play.
Also I use this
It’s not free like the other suggestion (thanks for that link btw I’ll take a look myself) but it works fine.
I can’t help you with the replay though...

How does NuScorpii's compare to Lexx-Frictionless and Silver on the CSL Elite?
Haven't tried Nu's yet, generally prefer Lexx's to Silver, just find Lexx's a little too light.

I haven't tried any of the Lexx files -reading about them, they didn't sound like my cup of tea (I like quite strong FFB). At one point the number of new files that were being released by Karsten and NuScorpii got a bit too much and I found that the HM 2.3 file worked really well for me, so I just stuck with it.

The reason for mentioning it here was to encourage others to give it a try, because to me, it improves on the standard FFB, and fills in some of the gaps -all very subjective of course :)

Don't forget to follow Reiza's recommendation:

This is not Motec, but 10.1 is AMS2 compatible.^^

You are sitting too high. Actually you are sitting really far down and in the middle in these kind of cars to keep the center of mass low and centered. ^^'
You can compare it a bit to more modern DTM cars, even in the revised 2020 SC Brasil.

What did they revised in the 2020 sc Brasil? Where the cars more like DTM before?

Tried Nu's Heavy 2.5 and AMS2's ffb has finally clicked! Between 2.5 and, surprisingly, the StockCar2020 (previously one of my least favorite cars) I actually think ffb is general has clicked for me.

What I thought was awful ffb on the SC2020 (ffb felt like it was on/off then spin) I can now feel what I understand to be the tires loading up; this is quite profound for me, I'm understanding what the wheel is telling me.

Now I have Interlagos at 1:40:0xx and Santa Cruz at 1:23:5xx, where previously I couldn't get around them with any consistency.

I fully agree, it's worth playing with these custom files; there IS quality ffb in AMS2.

I see a few updates for the corolla now.. so I have to ask the question, do these stock cars really have that big rectangle of death smack in the centre of your vision IRL? Its not been "fixed" in the last two updates to the corolla so must assume its legit? Id like to like it, but, its hard to race when you cannot see WhereTF you are going?

Maybe the seating position should be lower in this car and they just left it sort of stock for all cars height wise? Is it possible to lower the seat a bit? Maybe the drivers for this car was always tiny? :D So many questions, lol, but maybe lowering the seat might fix the issue.

I appreciate the link, but I have already looked at this product. It doesn't support rfactor 2 and I would like one telemetry analysis tool. Plus subscription software makes me go into a coma. I hate that model.
