This is not one of the most fastest setup that I can made on this track, but it can give long life to your tyres. The car anyway seems fast and reliable, just one tip, try to cut the angles in the 1st sector to gain time.

Notes
I made this setup in TT to not destroy tires fine tuning it but the forgiving nature of the alignment should be friendly to the tires while having some down force on the off chance that it decides to rain on my race day. My fastest time while developing my pace was 1:41. I am sure there is more time to be found on full power and in more fine tuning.

P.S: my second setup I made on my own now so any advice or tips and whatnot would be appreciated

My only suggestion is don't use TT mode unless the setup is for TT mode. You have the perfect car in TT R&D wise (brakes and aero etc.). There is also no tyre sim or fuel sim. So no testing with high and low fuel weights.

These will not be race conditions, you may be caught out in the race, when you have a full tank of fuel and struggle with under steer for example. :)

Ahhh I see and now that I finally understand how the tire sets work in practice doing this isn't even necessary. My next setup will not be in TT.

If your run out of tyres during free practice (in the real world there would be 3 sessions), which will happen with lots of testing. Just re-start the session as many times as you like, until you are ready for Qualification :)

Quick setup for me, thanks

Hello all.

I have looked at most of the setups, and I tried 4 of them in a career practice with a mclaren Mercedes car ,ten laps of fuel mix 2.i ran five laps for each setup.
the track has a very tricky first setor.i had big problems with it last year with F1 2012 ,but I kind of mastered it.

I am using the keyboard for a controller “that is my times are too slow” if any one can make better times with a keyboard you have my full respect

Ok and now with the results:
1- Lotus F1 Team Mclaren 1x44x031 (tyre ware 17%) even though it was my fastest setup…but I had understeer with the car

2-- Luigi clemente MERCEDES1.44.153 (tyre ware 15%)

You have done it again luigi, amazing setup ..the car is very drivable tyres last very good

3- StewartF1Williams F11.44.208 tyres were 83% (tyre ware 17%)
4- Luigi clemente Ferrari setup Car1.45.534

It is very weird that I have had oversteering with the car and the tyres were 83% after 5 laps

I hope that someone else can do the same that I did…it saves a lot of time..and this year’s setups are very few compared to last year’s.

Its a real good setup for Lotus. I do it 1:37,841 on Q3 and playing 100% races setup is very impressive.
