Then I made a huge mistake going on to the back straight and took off Andy Dixey, I'm really sorry Andy it was a stupid mistake on my part.:(
No worries Mark, I was having a shocker anyway!

Anyway that was my first outing in these monster cars - phew! I practiced a little last night and enjoyed a few laps in the low 1:24's. Nothing like that today though unfortunately! It'll be copious amounts of red bull for me next time I'm in a morning race after a late night :bulgy-eyes:

Had a good chase with Chris Rodgers towards the end of the 1st race, just ran out of laps though :wink2:

At the first corner of the 2nd race, I missed the major mayhem but went in a bit too hot behind Maks while he was braking hard, came together and both spun off - sorry mate. All downhill after that I'm afraid - pitted at the end of the 1st lap to fix the aero damage picked up on the back straight, hoping to consolidate and pick up some places. Never really got back into it though so retired to spectate and watch the aliens smoothly zip round at the front.....

Right, off to watch the F1 re-run now :umbrella:

Like most states in Europe, Summer (Daylight-Saving) Time is observed in The Netherlands Time, where the time is shifted forward by 1 hour; 2 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT+2).

When this is true, it is 2 hours later then gmt.

Im afraid i have to leave the race in the middle of the race, because i have to go to work early 6:00 oclock dutch time.

idd hoped for a sleep of at least 4 hours and not 3 hours. :party2:

pls tell me im wrong.

Well, first of all thank you for letting me stay for the event as I didn't sign up.

Also sorry for the chatter about chatting during practice. My internal clock was obviously off by an hour, but on the other hand when too many people type too quickly it fills up the screen making it impossible to see. Maybe a 3 or 4 second delay between typing would help as the previous message would be cleared off screen (suggestion??).

Now onto the race. Race 1 was interesting to say the least. Got involved in other peoples mistakes twice. Each time costing me a trip to the pits. On the exit from the 2nd pit for repairs I for some stupid reason hit the pit limiter (thought it was my look back button, but that is in GTR2). As a result I got a stop and go.

Even with all of that I managed to finish 7th overall, after starting 2nd and 3 stops for a 13 lap race.

2nd race, started second (reverse grid is good!!). Got overtaken at beginning, thought about holding line longer, but figured better to let them go. Fortune turned my way as both cars in front of me had mistakes allowing me to take the lead. From there it was managing lap times without slowing down too much as to cause a lapse of concentration. Ended up winning.

Great racing all around. Will next week also be the Sunreds?

Im up for this one, only problem is that Ive reached my download limit for today, I found the track on no-grip (at least I think so) just need the mod.
