*Assistance Needed* FWD TQ Steer.

I have looked everywhere, google, forums, I haven’t found anything that explicitly talks about fixing TQ steer in Assetto Corsa

I’m modeling suspension geometry on a Chevy Cobalt SS (LNF), and I’m having difficulty fixing the TQ steer. In real life, there’s virtually no TQ steer. I used the AC worksheet, used spring rates, motion ratio, etc etc. But this TQ steer is insane, it’s like the suspension is broken! It just rips The wheel out of my hand! That’s the main problem I need to fix.

I have other FWD cars, and they don’t have TQ steer. What can I adjust and look into to solve this problem? Is there a .ini file I’m missing? I modified car/drivetrain /engine/suspension/tires.ini and power.lut

Honestly this is just from somebody who uses the Assetto Corsa Car Tuner, but you'd probably have to edit the tire.ini parameters for more grip and adjust the toe in the suspensions.ini. I would love a Cobalt SS mod in Assetto Corsa, I owned a Pontiac G5 in real life with the 2.4l LE5 and those little cars can move!

It's 100% things in suspensions.ini, can't really be specific since a lot of stuff could be causing it. There's no "torque_steer = 50" line if you're looking for that, it's just some consequence of the geometry as you set it.

I believe it's probably the toe settings, not entirely sure but irl toe is the best way to align a fwd car.
