Here you go a very basic rainfx for Daytona 2017 by Terra21 - Let me know if it works - thanks

Add to end of existing daytona_2017.ini in yourpc:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\extension\config\tracks\loaded

or create your own ext_config.ini file in the tracks extension folder (Don't forget to copy over the daytona_2017__lights.kn5 file from loaded folder too)

Hi, thanks for the dynamic weather files.
When I view race replay, it will only show rain weather, but not the dynamic weather events that happened during the race. Any idea why?

tried to compile ext.config.ini like so:

[RAIN_FX]
PUDDLES_MATERIALS =
SOAKING_MATERIALS = roada0
SMOOTH MATERIALS =
ROUGH_MATERIALS =
; construction of the pit
STREAM_EDGE _... =
STREAM_EDGE _... =
STREAM_EDGE _... =


When instead I insert "roada0" in the entry PUDDLES_MATERIALS = I get a puddle effect but the track turns green.

Let me know how to fix. Thank you!

Great, thank you for the tutorial, I am now able to add rain fx to any track, looks great.
What do I need to do to have more spray, at this point I get a little bit of spray, but not enough.
I am using 1.77 preview 1 and sol 2.2
