I'm more than a 100% sure that Kunos already had that money to license the cars and tracks, they haven't announced any license for over a year now, at this point its a money grab.
Oh, good to know. Can you please throw up the link to the data that made you 100% sure? Also, can you please throw up some links to Business 101 that shows that if you earned money in the past you must use it to fund all future expenditures and you cannot sell additional products until all that money previously earned runs out?

Exactly, lets invest all of our money by giving it for free to anyone else. If they wouldn't charge for dlc, it would be the equivalent to giving up their money for free. You know what would happen then? The company would stop working on the game, would stop working on new content, they would need to sell themselves to [insert evil gaming corporation] and make a game for that corporation, in the exact way that corporation wants.

Agree. Kunos DLC is high quality and is well worth my hard-earned money.

Seems that people don't get my point of view properly, so I'm audi.
Just because they licensed certain Mercedes cars a year ago, doesn't mean all other cars from Mercedes will be free of licensing fees. You wanted to make the opposite point of it, that they don't have to pay money for new cars from a brand they already put a car in the game before. The cars is just one part, the track license and all the development afterwards can be the equivalent cost of several cars.

^ Oh the irony and hypocrisy... "Don't go off topic", says the guy who made his grand entrance on this thread with the talk about lies and deceit and "Assetto Corsa 2", in a topic about DP3 impressions. Y'all are slipping real hard, can't even be consistent with your toxicity. Can't do anything right for the life of you, tsk tsk ... atleast it took 5 pages to turn into a :poop:show this time around, so that's an improvement I guess.

I understand that you hate me, but you're the one creating the :poop: storm when you simply see my name, so no point blaming it on me, I bet you haven't even explored places for possible info regarding the unannounced plans about AC2 and fyi I haven't said that its a 100% chance they're making AC2.

I understand that you hate me

What? Bro, I don't even know you, in fact this is the first thread that I actually conversed with you in... I literally have no reason to "hate" you, but hey if you think I hate you and it gives you a sense of purpose in life then by all means go ahead. Pity would be a better term for what's going on here. All I saw was a pathetic toxic post by some rando in an otherwise nice thread with civil discussions going on with literally no purpose other than to rile people up and I felt the need to respond in kind, which was a dumb move by me considering rule 1 of internet is don't feed the trolls. So yeah, apologies to the mods from me for doing that. Goodbye to you Blimey guy and happy holidays. :3

Why would they not make an AC2? They are in business to make money no? A new game means fresh income coming in right? It's been this way since the first Pong sequel and will be that way until the end of time. I don't see an issue here.

I hope we get an AC2; pretty sure the devs feel the same way, but it is anything but a sure bet at this point in time.

We should be celebrating the fact that a year after release the devs are still talking about another years worth of updates instead of announcing 'see ya in two years with a sequel; don't worry, we will still release a steady stream of paid DLC content between now and then', which is what passes for the industry standard nowadays.

toxic random post, by who? How are you calling me the troll when you're trolling me? All of a sudden it went from normal to sarcasm.

1) Kunos(AC) is first and most important only company to bring out many of the vehicles other devs/ studios can't! and have NOT done!
2) Kunos has caught up in huge steps and is marching in the right direction and they know it! hats off to Kunos for sticking to their business strategies!
3) their DLC's make sense and deserve to be paid for, at least I am happy to pay for it and so is the car club I am in!
4) Kunos is a business, they have to male money like any other company (business) out there! that's what most easily forget. they don't have a money printer or billionaire shoving $$$$ into their account to do what they want (best example here, M$ back Turn10 with Forza...all the money they need but yet a really bad racing game)
5) to licensing of vehicles in games, I don't think anyone can make a competent statement, because we just don't know, but one thing is certain!!! THE manufacturers give THE marching direction and beat to that marching! not the other way around, and if people would just look around in the actual games they would find out quickly what limitations manufacturers put into games for their vehicles compared to other manufacturers and which models and etc. are transferres or allowed to be used in any game.
6) Kunos (AC) had done much better than pCARS in my opinion, since they keep upping the game and quality where as the competition can't fix or doesn't know how to deliver anymore and starting back paddle! and not to mention studio behaviour towards customers...

anyways, happy holidays and enjoy your racing games! yes games!
