If you enjoy them then have fun; but for now it probably isn't possible to get the AI working any better on them. You can always try to record an AI line yourself, there is tutorial thread somewhere in the official forums that explains how to do it. (plus it is really easy, there is an app)

This is the thread,

http://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/index.php?threads/ai-fast-lane-editor.11214/

It's long but the instructions do work and you can usually get the AI to start a quick race although you need to spend a fair bit of time to get a good line and even then it wont be as good as on the Kunos tracks.

If the track converter has not defined the track surfaces/limits , etc. properly then you wont get a good result whatever you do. I created an AI line for one of the Road America rips and all that happened was the AI left the pits and all smacked into the pit wall so prepare for some frustration.

The hell, all this talk about good mod tracks and no mention the brilliant Paul Ricard? For shame I say.
Yep, Paul Ricard is in the top 5 realistic tracks I've played in this game.
I've been there and I can tell you it's very close to the real thing.

I guess we can recommend him also Solitude, Suzuka (the one by Malagoli), Road America, and how about "peyregrosse mandagout" hillclimb? :p

Btw, these last messages make me realize that many people feel disappointed with Assetto Corsa cos they didn't update their mods.
I understand that "vanilla" Assetto Corsa can feel VERY underwhelming compared to its rivals.
Personally I update my files daily and sometimes even tweak further my filters, or improve the sound on some cars, etc.
Keep your tracks and cars updated, use nice skins, better sound mods, realistic filters...
When you do that, it becomes the best sim out there, BY FAR.
Oh and of course, update the game itself. lol
It pains me to read on some forums "Project Cars has way more content than AC!" lol...
AC has like 100x more content than PC, by now...:whistling:
And the quality that goes with it, unlike that simcade. lol
These people still think we're in 2013. lol

@Fernando Zart Thanks for the help. It was my resolution. It changed for some reason after I installed the DLC. I remember seeing an error on Steam right after it completed the install but it flashed really quickly then disappeared. In any event, changing the resolution in A/C got me back to square 1. Thanks.

I got a chance to play around with a few cars on Brands Hatch and a couple of other tracks. In my opinion, there is a big improvement in the AI. I had cars actually waiting to see what I was going to do before trying to make a pass. Where cars would have dive bombed me to take an inside line, now got right up to me then slowed down, then would accelerate as I moved to track out. I'm very impressed. I don't know if it's like that across the board but from my initial tests last night, it was all good.

As far as the cars, me and Ford will be good friends. I had a blast sliding it around.
The Gallardo is death trap, lol. Might be the most tail happy car minus the Ruf.
The AMG GT3 has me confused. I need some more time with it to figure out what's going on.

As always, I remain impressed with A/C and this new DLC hasn't changed that for me.

The new patch has the same big issue online, when you go out) the track (opening the corner) avoiding an accident, losing time, the game say: slow down 5 seconds, when you are not cut anytime the track.
So, you almost have to stop the car, and the cars behind you probably hit you.

First it´s unfair, and second is very dangerous, I think is not so difficult to do a penalty like iRacing does.

In other hand, DLC is great, the feeling of the cars is awesome as usual in AC.

iRacing works almost the same way, if you cut the track it'll give you a few seconds to slow down, the only difference is AC's requires you to be completely off the throttle, iR's is fine with partial throttle.

It's only dangerous if you respond dangerously, the only requirement is to complete it before the end of the lap. Usually the best option is to brake early for a corner, then coast around the inside instead of tracking out.

Kind of regret buying all the DLC's just to have what, 5 new GT3 cars, after all, all of the DLC's are a funding for the "assetto corsa 2" which will probably be a massive lie too when it comes to basic features.

Really sorry for your loss, hope you can recover from this tragic act of horrible and inhuman betrayal soon brother. Stay strong and keep preachin'. My hopes and prayers go out to you. xoxo /s -.-

I still think, iRacing has much much better penalty system than AC. when you take a corner out in iRacing you have a x1 but no penalty. when you cut you have a penalty.
In AC if the car before you spin and you only can go out the corner to avoid hit him, you receive a big penalty. Same thing when someone hit you and put you out the track, you receive 5 secs. penalty too, when you have no advantage at all.
They need to work well on it, very annoying system.

AC's penalties only apply in areas that can be used to speed up laps, main ones you're likely to visit in order to avoid incidents are chicane cuts (eg. Monza's 2nd chicane). If you just go off the track along the side of a straight there's almost never a penalty (just invalid lap for qual purposes)

Improvements are always welcome but I've certainly seen iR's one take someone out of contention by giving them 5 seconds for cutting a millimetre over the line. It's not something you can make work out every time, too much opinion on "did this situation require cutting to avoid"

for anyone that might not know, the huracan super-trofeo is a cup car for the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo series.
the rev limit is higher in the ST compared to GT3 version
both cars are great with the tc & abs turned off.
GT3 appears to be a bit quicker at most tracks, and handling of ST is more towards oversteer than the gt3.
ST slower through corners, faster on straights.

the gt3 info page states "600 bhp" - but the graph shows that it has about 560bhp.
it appears that kunos have retarded the gt3 performance significantly in recent updates.

So us paying for dlcs doesn't count for their need to pay for licensing and development of the track and cars? You think all the dlc money is going into their pocket and not paying for the costs nor for investment in more game updates and new content?

I'm more than a 100% sure that Kunos already had that money to license the cars and tracks, they haven't announced any license for over a year now, at this point its a money grab.
