What they fail to conclude is the gfx settings for the recommended, so mean nothing at this stage.

I'm sure I could max out settings hotlapping, but add a few AI into the mix will be a different story

I have an i5 6600k oc to 4.2.
Recommended specs says i5 8600k, therefore assuming the # of cores is also important else recommended would be i7 6700k?

I hope my old cpu i5-3570K @ 4.4GHz will handle this. Recently i have upgraded to gtx 1070. Also interested in triple screen if it can handle.

I have a GTX 1060 and a Phenom X6 1055T (I know, very old processor but it still holds strong for most things today -all the sims have no problem running), so I guess it'll be super tight. I'm surprised about the specs, though, because another UE4 game (MotoGP 18) doesn't require that much power and runs super smoothly on max specs on my PC.

I guess the bottelneck for me will be my CPU then. My i7-6700 non k will not be pleased when adding some AI cars

Don't think we need to panic just yet , I think optimization comes late in the dev cycle. Wreckfest was a GPU killer in the early days , now you can hit 100 fps with mid range card

I'm in the same boat there Ryno. Having just looked at a couple of CPU hierarchy sites, the old 4790K still holds up pretty well against current mid-level i5 CPUs - and it's certainly above the minimum spec - so should be ok!

As a heads up for those that haven't seen it, I read on the Kunos facebook page that go-time is 18:00 CEST. I am unreasonably excited!
