Assetto Corsa Competizione | Laguna Seca and Bathurst Preview Images

Kunos Simulazioni's Marco Massaruto has revealed some early preview images from the upcoming Laguna Seca and Bathurst circuits coming to Assetto Corsa Competizione.

Of course, any sim racer that hasn't been hiding under a rock these past few weeks will be well aware that the first post release DLC for Assetto Corsa Competizione is in the works - adding the 2019 Intercontinental GT Challenge cars and circuits to the simulation.

Despite the pack still being a little way from release on the PC title, we've already seen some very nice preview images of Kyalami on the official Assetto Corsa Competizione social media channels, and now Marco has taken to his own Facebook account to give us a sneaky glimpse of how development is going with two very iconic circuits - Mt. Panorama in Australia, and the legendary Californian Laguna Seca venue.

At the time of writing we don't know exactly when the new DLC will be made available in Assetto Corsa Competizione, although Marco did suggest the cars and tracks will be "coming (pretty) soon" - keep your eyes on RaceDepartment for more release news and previews as and when they become available.


Assetto Corsa Competizione is available now on PC.

As per Paul's blog; "adding the 2019 Intercontinental GT Challenge cars and circuits to the simulation. ". Hence my question, does anyone know what cars? It may well be that it's meant to be only new skins, but now I have no idea. Can this be cleared up - new skins or new cars?

Edit: In anycase I am thrilled with the proposed DLC; instant buy for me (hoping that price is not unrealistic as some other - not be be mentioned- sim).

Isn't it rather "skins" than cars? Or are there other differences too between Backpain and Intercintinental GT cars?

Maybe slightly different BoP rules?

You make it sound like Bathurst is the inferior

No track in sim racing can give me this feeling that Bathurst does when driving it. Laguna Seca is a mere mound compared to the mountain.

I haven't had the time to invest much in ACC yet, but Bathurst will change that.

I did a flying lap around Bathurst a few years ago at breakneck speed in a high powered 3 cylinder Daihatsu.

Ok.....it was at the speed limits and all I had was 50 hp

Scanned Bathurst and Suzuka in a game by Kunos, who knew.

The game is very good now. The VR however is not Maybe it will be improved, triple screen seemed impossible for UE4 too, also TrackIR got some love later on... so who knows

Maybe a reason to drop my Rift, get an ultrawide and start playing ACC.

that’s pretty much what I did. A 49” super ultra wide but only a 1080 one. Great combo of extreme horizontal real estate thats relatively easy to drive at max settings . I love ACC!

Only me that’s more excited for Laguna? don’t get me wrong, I’m looking forward to Bathurst too, but Laguna is the superior track for me. Great mix of corners.

Wow!!! Can't wait for this DLC. All four tracks in this pack are awesome, each one highly challenging in its own way. This pack will probably make ACC my favorite sim.

Well apart from Bathurst - a few straight lines and a wiggly bit does not make a track - I know, I know, I'm gonna get crap for that

Every track is a few straight lines and wiggly bits with that logic.
