Assetto Corsa Competizione | Intercontinental GT Pack set to release February 4th

Teasing is nearly over! In just a few days the Intercontinental GT Pack DLC will release and bring us 4 amazing circuits from all over the world.

Kunos Simulazioni has been teasing us over and over again with all screenshots from the 4 tracks they are bringing to Assetto Corsa Competizione. Teasing us with Kyalami, Bathurst, twice with Suzuka and twice with Laguna Seca, they have now finally announced the release date of Februari 4th. Just a few more days to wait...

If you really can't wait to see the new tracks, Kunos have added to the art of teasing for you. They released an onboard with Aristotelis Vasilakos, their very own head of Car physics, around the track of Bathurst! You certainly don't want to miss that as he gives some great tips on how to do Bathurst in the GT3 cars.

Assetto Corsa Competizione is available now on PC. Intercontinental GT Pack release date is set for February 4th, a price is yet unknown.

I can't wait I think it will be around £12.99 - £14.99, but what ever the price I will get it.
It can only be a good thing that it was not rushed and now the state of the actual games is much better than when the DLC was announced so for me its a win win situation

ACC ticks most of the boxes for me expect VR, you really need PC hard wear that has not been invented yet to run it properly IMO

If they could just fix the lag when people join the server I will be in sim heaven

for me, 5-10 euros per track seems reasonable, so let's go with 8€, throw in another 8€ for the liveries and we'll end up at 40 euros. for four laser-scanned tracks and having only paid 25 euros for the base game back in early access, i wouldn't complain too loudly.

it is a little suspicious that there is no price despite a release in only 2 days. either itll be free or it might just be more expensive than we wouldve expected...
iracing gets away with the prices they charge because of the services they provide which are completely unrivaled.
a quality restaurant also charges you higher prices for something like a cola because of the ambiance.

And yes, the 2:02 laptime is a bit strange if we take into consideration that it was - to say the least - not a clean and perfect lap. 2:05 would be more acceptable.

If history is any guide, Kunos will take care of us and offer reasonable pricing. Everyone else seems to be around $5-10/track or car so anything less is reasonable to me.

Watched the Bathurst 12 hour and I’m dying to flog the Bentley around the track. Looks so fun

Using this method the base game would cost 88€ just for the tracks. It doesn't. I'm thinking if the base game is €40 then the DLC will be more like €20. IMO Kunos have always gone for "we'll sell it at a low price and sell lots of copies" rather than "we'll sell it at a high price and sell a few copies". Well, we'll know soon enough.

If I like the Sim and the content i never have a problem paying for DLC. This is a hobby for me so as long as it brings me enjoyment its worth it. Ive never regretting purchasing anything sim related.. well except Project cars 1 and Seb. Loeb rally..

I am so grateful that I do not even have to worry about how much Kunos will ask for this upcoming amazing DLC to expand on their awesome next generation SIM.
I will spend so much time driving those 4 new laser scanned tracks that whatever the price it will cost me pennies per minutes by the end of February.

It won't be free, that was quite clear right from the start.

I think it will be around 20 euros, or 25 USD. Just a guess.

While I love the DLC and Kunos for their work, I am absolutely embarrassed to see these 'I'll buy it at any price' comments - do you guys have even the slightest idea about how market economy, supply and demand works!?

Maybe you are very well off, but statements like these are precisely what make demand elasticity more and more rigid, naturally pushing a - make no mistake - market-driven business to push prices higher and higher, looking for that elusive reservation price of its customers.

So maybe you are well off, and you think you don't care about what price you pay, but a) not everyone is like you, and b) if you continue making statements like this, the supply is eventually going to hit (and possibly race past) your own reservation price too. (Because everyone has one, even if you're not consciously aware of it - say, it's $100, $200, your monthly clothing bill, or $500...)

Sorry for the rant, but please... be more responsible.

On the flipside, I'm eagerly anticipating the DLC as well as I can't wait to finally drive a laser-scanned Bathurst and Suzuka! Kyalami is also interesting for me, especially having the old bits in a laser-scanned format again. (If only the old layout would still exist...) Super-stoked!

(And no, even though 'I'm eagerly anticipating' it, I won't buy at any price...)
