Hot on the heels of the big build 1.3 release of Assetto Corsa Competizione, two new hotfix updates addressing some of the issues from the latest update has been deployed to the sim.

Releasing yesterday (V1.3.1) and today (V1.3.2), the new hotfixes looks to pick up from the recent V1.3 update to Assetto Corsa Competizione, the official racing simulation of the GT World Challenge Europe, and comes complete with a few minor fixes and improvements to the simulation - although it must be noted that the controller menu exit crashing bug remains in the current build of the title.

Assetto Corsa Competizione V1.3.2 Update Notes
  • Cleared leftover pit strategies from all car preset setups.
  • All car preset setups tyreset is now set to the default set 1.
  • Updated race number generator when non-unique numbers are used.
  • Start procedure triggers revised for Mount Panorama.
  • Added lateral position indicator when delta speed is active in scripted formation.
  • Various minor livery updates.
  • Added option to disable the audio driver selection to use the default OS driver:
  • "enableAudioDriverSelection" in moduleenabler.json.
  • MP: Servers will let team members join as spectators, independently of the isRaceLocked state.
  • MP: Added server admin commands /sg10, /sg20, /sg30 and /clear_all (clears all penalties from all cars).
  • MP: Scripted formation reliability improvements.
  • MP: Fixed <no name> entries for a special configuration of entry lists.
  • MP: Server will now write .txt files into the "current" folder, which implies the logging purposes better.
  • NOTE: it is recommended to clear this folder.
  • MP: Renamed current/setting.json to current/settings.txt.
  • MP: Entrylist property defaultGridPosition is now 1-based, resulting in 1:1 grid positions (ie 1 is pole, 13 is really 13).
  • MP: Fixed an issue where defaultGridPosition would always start with position 2.
  • MP: Incremented the server version, please update the servers.
  • MP: Added server handbook version 7.
Assetto Corsa Competizione V1.3.1 Update Notes

@kunos personally:
First: „please“
2nd : we need „custom- grid“ editor

It‘s so annoying that the blue Merc with the mid-range pilot Luca Stolz is always at first row and wins every race

Plz check top 30 shootout Nords 2019. He was able to spin the car on GP course
He is regularly partnering with Maro Engel, Yelmer Buurman in ADAC GT-Masters, former Blancpain GT and other GT3-Championships. And they were always with the top teams and drivers. So, I think he knows his way around some tracks and the Merc GT3.
Spinning the car on the Nürburgring GP track is not really a qualifier for good or bad pilots, right?
Are you serious or pulling my leg? (Seriously)

Why didn‘t Maxi Buhk drive the Top 30 shootout on Nords last year he‘s obviously the better one? I tell u why ... (€). And by the way is your speech the reason that the blue Merc is always on the front row (in ACC)?

You were talking about the real person, not ACC, right?
How should I know, why Maxi Buhk didn't drive the shootout. Team decision. Maybe even he stepped down himself. I'm not a fan of conspiracy theories. I just watch GT3 races.
I couldn't care less if the blue merc is always on the front row of ACC.
In previous versions of ACC I noticed that very often Dries Vanthoor always quickest in sessions.

So we reached a balance of ACC and bugs

@Martin Vindis So I've done some tests with the scanline sync and you're right, it works a lot better now compared to the last time I tested it. It is indeed a perfect solution for low input lag and almost no tearing. It even works well in borderless window mode on most games - even though you obviously don't get tearing in borderless, it still smooths out the frame pacing nicely, better than simple frame limiter (which always caused some microstutter for me, or I had to run it on higher values than my framerate, which degraded smoothness of the image, again for obvious reasons).

Though, funnily enough, it doesn't work as well in ACC in borderless ;) I still get a fair bit of input lag and microstutter with scanline sync in borderless. But it works good enough in fullscreen, and I don't really need borderless in ACC, so that's good enough for me. I guess I really might be finally able to play this game :)

So thanks for the heads up!

Just an FYI if you're having trouble with getting the game running (I was, especially on 1.3.2), check the AC official forums, lots of troubleshooting tips to try there.

First thing I do any game. All games have crap music.

I know this is a relatively old post...but all games? If you're talking racing sims then of course, I could care less about music in this genre...but ALL games? Half of Nintendo, Sega and Capcom's libraries alone contain games with great music...also, Cuphead (as a modern example).

Anybody getting micro stutters since today's patch?
Yes i am , my pc is a good system and the stutters are their , i have tried everything to get rid of them , and having seen more now with the same issues i assume it must be from the recent patch , however their are some saying its running buttery smooth so i really dont know whats going on , any one ells with some good ideas please help thanks

@Doug46 But what CPU do you have? That's more important than GPU (that really is the least important stat, provided you stay within reasonable resolution for that GPU).

"A system built up over time that you think can handle most games" is not a very useful answer, especially since opinions on what that means can differ wildly, and thinking something should be true does not necessarily make it true or even reasonable.

i7 9000 32 gig ram std drive running game i think that,s quite a reasonable system to handle the game , most things are on high not epic , so i would of thought i shouldn't get micro stutters , thanks for your reply by the way ! i have noticed the micro stutters on corners more in silverstone and suzuka haven't tried other tracks as yet buy i am sure they will be present, running 27 cars , all my other race sims run smooth, have moved to a ips monitor 27 inch, recently 2560 x 1440 144 hertz running it on 140 hertz though , any help would be most welcome. Just tried it with 22 cars and it still Does it thought it might help reducing those!

Will try reducing things on screen to see what happens.
