About Funselektor:
Indie developer Dune “Funselektor” Casu has a thing for racing, as his games suggest. After releasing Absolute Drift in 2015, Dune launched earlier this Fall art of rally, an homage to the golden years of rally and cool vintage cars.
When he’s not programming games (don’t drive when you code!), you can find Dune all across Canada and the US, driving around in his van/office-on-wheels.

Art of Rally is available now, exclusively to PC.

Have a brief look through this thread and read 'Gamepad' but no Wheels, so I'm guessing without having to do a lot of research it does not support Wheel /Pedals / Multiple Shifters / Triple Screen / Cockpit View or have a great 'Photo Mode':geek:...would look great in Triple Screen as would the screen shots for that something different ;)...just my 2 cents

By far THE game of the year for me; it may not be every ones cup of tea but this game is pure art. This is the driving game you dreamed about when gaming on your Commodore 64, Amiga or Atari ST back late eighties and early nineties. It's visuals are stunning despite their seemingly simplistic style, especially on a 1440p HDR Ultrawide @144hz...literally eye-candy. The soundtrack is amazing too and worth the buy alone. But (as should be in any game) it's the gameplay that stands out; the driving is very refined for a top down arcade racer, it really takes skill, and the enjoyment you get when stringing sets of corners together at high speed is pure fun.

Try it, theres a demo version on Steam but I'll bet that within five minutes you've already bought the whole game.
Maybe Im missing something but i dont see a demo for this game on Steam. By any chance do you have a link?

I mean, if someone wants to mod in some lower perspective cameras and wheel support I wouldn't mind...

Dang, maybe even Virtual Rea... okay don't wanna get too greedy here.

Part of the reason for the game having the birds-eye perspective is to provide an additional line of sight as the game does not have co-driver.

For me, it makes the game unique as you do need to pay attention to the road ahead as no one is there to call out whats coming up.

Here's the demo from the developer:

I totally get that. I've already got about 23 hours into it and similar in Absolute Drift. I get the appeal, I love the art design and game play. Why add mod support if it's good as-is? Because it allows the community to explore unique stuff.

...There is another little indie game i bought at the same time as this gem, its called Lonely Mountains: Downhill, a mountain bike downhill game with same kind of graphics and same kind of fun.

PS: Did somebody else get totally excited for the lancia stratos and barely made the first rally with it? Twitchy little beast.

Yup I bought that one a couple of months ago and it's good to play chilling on the TV and sofa, then on first seeing this Rally game I immediately thought of Lonely Mountains

I just tried this yesterday, and wow. I was expecting to see some cool visuals and then shelf it and return to my regular sims. But I love it. It's so much fun, and there's a sense of progression, which is something often absent in racing titles. Well done to the dev team!

Any ideas why I custom livery I made wouldn't show up in game? I tested out a preliminary version of it yesterday and it worked fine, made changes/improvements, saved under a different file name, deleted the old version and now nothing but the default liveries for that car (the umibozu) load.

Yes, I've checked that it's not too big and it's the correct proportions.

I think i will gift this to me for Smissmass... and one copy for a friend aswell. :)
The new update makes me curious... mod support + new cars... :geek:

The "la regina" is an Alfa GTAM?
The "pebble V2" is an Skoda 130 RS?

Anyway, i love the minimalistic art style... :inlove:
