Any way to run rFDynHUD on windows 8.1?

I've just reinstalled rFactor on my pc and downloaded my favourite mods I've been playing before. I remember I used rfdynhud but I had windows 7 back then and now I have windows 8.1 x64. The problem is that I can't run the editor at all. I've searched for a working solution but couldn't find one. Can you help me, please?

Thank you, I've just found the same solution :D

So to everyone else who has this problem on windows 8, 8.1 or 10:
- Install rFDynHUD
- Install java 1.6 32 bit version (I used this one: http://filehippo.com/download_jre_32/changelog/4378/)
- Yes, 32 bit version, not 64. Not even if you have a 64 bit system! I have windows 8.1 x64 and I installed the 32 version of java 1.6. You don't have to uninstall your newer or 64 bit java, simply just install the 32 bit version of 1.6.
- You can get an error message if you try to run rFDynHUD the first time then look at the log file. Mostly you'll see the problem is that you don't have a user file (.plr) in the plugins User folder. Mostly it's because the plugin doesn't even have that folder. The solution is easy. Copy the User folder from your main rFactor directory to the plugins folder and try to run it again.

I think these were all the problems I've faced, but if I gladly help you if I can with other problems on this case.

Have fun ;)
