F1 2012 Anti-Aliasing trouble

F1 2012 The Game (Codemasters)
Hi there !
I have a trouble with my F1 2012 settings. Actually I can't set an anti-aliasing filter up to 4msaa, Is there an issue ?
My graphic card is an AMD Radeon HD6870 1Gb
Can you help me ? Thanks guys !
 
I don't know whether it would effect the AA selection in the game graphics menu, but have you forced an AA setting in the Catalyst CCC control panel?

There are 3 choices in CCC :-

1/ Use Application Settings
2/ Enhance Application Setting
3/ Override Application Settings

I use option 1

If you use option 3 to override the application, perhaps that prevents you choosing another one in-game. I don't know, I have not tried it.

If that isn't it, then perhaps you can create a CCC profile to force higher AA when running F1 2012.

You might need to change a few things but you got the general idea.
 
Hi,

I have a question to the Anti Aliasing system of the game as I can only choose MSAA for Anti Aliasing but I have read in several threads, that others have multiple choices for this option, such as 16xqcaa etc...

Does anyone know why I am limited in my choices? I have an ATi Radeon HD 6950.

Hmm, ingame I can only choose MSAA while in the Catalyst Control Center I can choose between MSAA, EQAA and SSAA.

If I change the method of AA in CCC, what is then used ingame? MSAA or the version I chose in CCC?
Does CCC have option for overriding application setting? If it has, you can override anti alias setting by CCC, no matter what application setting is.
You have to check it yourself because I don't have AMD cards.
