Ams2 triple setup

Is it even possible to get triple screens perfectly lined up? Has anyone achieved this?

owned the sim since release haven’t been able to run it because of this.

There's a config file for your triple screen settings. It has vertical adjustments in there, have you tried fiddling with the numbers in that? Might be that the left/right screens need some manual adjustment.

Maybe this can help you, paste this in your "triplescreensettings.xml" at the exact same place and dont touch nothing in the "triple setup" in game.
This is for my 3 x 27' screens using "nvidia surround with bezel corrected".

<data class="TripleScreenConfigData" id="0x42524D00">
<prop name="Name" data="" />
<prop name="Build" data="1803" />
<prop name="ForceTripleScreen" data="false" />
<prop name="AllowTripleScreen" data="true" />
<prop name="LeftScreen" physicalHeight="26.000000" physicalWidth="47.000000" bezelLeft="1.000000" bezelRight="1.000000" angleFromForward="20.000000" distanceToEye="90.000000" verticalOffset="0.000000" pixelWidth="1920" pixelHeight="1080" />
<prop name="RightScreen" physicalHeight="26.000000" physicalWidth="47.000000" bezelLeft="1.000000" bezelRight="1.000000" angleFromForward="20.000000" distanceToEye="90.000000" verticalOffset="0.000000" pixelWidth="1920" pixelHeight="1080" />
<prop name="CentreScreen" physicalHeight="26.000000" physicalWidth="47.000000" bezelLeft="1.000000" bezelRight="1.000000" angleFromForward="0.000000" distanceToEye="90.000000" verticalOffset="0.000000" pixelWidth="1920" pixelHeight="1080" />
</data>
</Reflection>

If you have another PC configuration, you may have to do adjustments in this file. I found it work best to change this file instead of doing it in game.

Why can’t we just use the options in the settings for triple in AMS2?
There have been bugs in that section of code from time-to-time which made it near impossible to use. Bugs might be fixed, or might not, so knowing the work-around is useful for some of us. At one point last year, I'd just copy/paste the triple screen settings from pCARS2. YMMV.

no i don't think ams2 cares ether way. It should work with it or without it.

Which is great for me as having it on mucks about with my other 2 work monitors when i swap the cables over.

There's only 4 ports on my gfx card and i need 5 monitors so i plug in and out monitors when setting up my 3 for triples and every time i need to resetup the Nvidia surround settings so now i doint use it.

Luckily i have ams2 and acc working without it, i only have problems with raceroom now.

Oh nice. Have been trying to get things lined up but couldnt. 3x1080p. 1 inch/2cm-ish too low on the side monitors (below center monitor). Bezel 2cm-ish, and then about 40 degrees angle on the side monitors.

Time to check the Excel sheet.

Anyone got a good idea on what graphics settings are the absolute most performance eaters? At max my gpu is at 99% and i see a little drop off here and there. Lowered some settings and it got better.

Thanks.

Hi guys, i recently bought a bezel free kit and had no luck with the settings. Now i have them perfectly alligned. As you guys now the settings in AMS2 for triples are very difficult because you can't change them in the car. In ACC you can so what i did is the following: get everything measured up and set the bezel distance in ACC to a point where it's good. Then go to AMS2 and cut the number in half. So for example in ACC my bezel setting with the free kit is -0.5 and in AMS2 it's -0.25. For example your bezel with in ACC is -0.2 in AMS2 it's 0.1.

I don't have any evidence for this formule but for me it worked so i thought maybe i can help someone.
